Gluten-Free Guide: Bellingham

Making a stop in Bellingham any time soon? I decided to start a list of some of my go-to spots when I’m visiting my hometown. I plan to continue adding to this list as I revisit some of my favorite spots or discover new places offering gluten-free options.
Let me know if you visit any of these places, would love to hear what you thought or if you’ve discovered something new! You can pin this guide for later here.

1317 N. State Street Bellingham, WA 98225
D’Anna’s can makes all their dishes to order, so they can accommodate just about all pasta dishes with their gluten-free pasta – made in house! The chocolate coconut ice dessert is a must – 10/10 recommend! Remember to inform your server of your allergies! Check out the menu here.
Ovn Wood Fired Pizza (@ovnwoodfired)

Head to Old Town for some good gluten-free breakfast options 🥞 They can sub out regular bread on breakfast or sandwich options for gluten-free bread. They also have gluten-free and dairy-free HOT CAKES! They can also accommodate dairy-free milk request for coffee with either soy, rice or almond milk. Check out the menu here.
Elizabeth Station (@elizabethstation)

Elizabeth Station is a friendly neighborhood beer market and they also have some gluten-free food options, on top of their wide selection of hard ciders. My favorite gluten-free option (pictured above) is the Rainbow Grain Bowl.

Look no further for a massive slice of delicious gluten-free and vegan cake! Pure Bliss labels all of their dessert options that are gluten-free and vegan. On my last visit I was able to have a slice of their Carrot Cake. They also serve beer and wine. Head there for happy hour for a cake slice and cider!
New Public Food Truck (@newpublicfoodtruck)
Various locations
A 100% vegan food truck! Definitely the best fries around 🍟 The photo of the burger above is the Kind of a Big Dill burger on a gluten-free bun. So. Freaking. Good. They also serve sandwiches, salads and nachos. Follow the truck on Instagram to stay up-to-date on locations and new menu items!

Gluten-free fish and chips anyone?! You’ll find some here! Some of their other gluten-free options include: fish tacos, mac & cheese (not dairy-free), posole rojo (not dairy-free), and salmon cakes. They usually have a gluten-free beer and hard cider on tap too!
