As a white female I will never understand what it is like to be on the receiving end of the deepest form of hatred. There’s truly no words. We need to be making more room for understanding, learning, love and kindness. Educate yourself, read books, listen to podcasts and stay informed. I may not always know the right thing to do, but I will learn. If you have a presence online, it’s important to use your voice to have tough and uncomfortable conversations. It’s the least we can do.

We need to continually rededicate ourselves to the lifelong task of overcoming the systemic racism in our country. The resources I’m starting to compile on this post are just a start and by no means comprehensive to everything that is out there.
Keep doing your part and making small changes everyday to bring down the racist heritage of our country.
