Air Fryer French Toast Bites

These crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside French toast bites are made with gluten-free Bread SRSLY sourdough bread. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for dipping into maple syrup. Enjoy them as a delightful breakfast treat or share them during brunch!
Course: Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Bread SRSLY cubed
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Combine the eggs, brown sugar, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
  2. Cut the bread loaf into bite-sized pieces, then add them to the bowl with the egg batter. Toss the cubes until they are evenly coated. Make sure there are no dry spots.
  3. I use parchment liners in my air fryer, but if you don't, lightly spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place bread cubes in an even layer in the air fryer. Don't overlap them; you may need to do two batches.
  4. Air fry at 350℉ for 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve with maple syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
